Awaiaulu is dedicated to making new access to the treasury of knowledge found in the Hawaiian-language repository of the past while training new resource people with the skills and insights that enable them to navigate that huge and invaluable cache.
While part of our work is supported by local and national grants, much of our progress must rely on donations.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Awaiaulu is grateful for the financial support that makes our work possible. To show our appreciation, any donation above $100 will receive an Awaiaulu t-shirt celebrating the recent translations of Phase III John Papa ʻĪʻī’s Nā Hunahuna o ka Moʻolelo Hawaiʻi and the third installment of the S.M. Kamakau series along with a re-print of Ka Nupepa Kuokoa, January 1, 1862 with translations. There are limited quantities of t-shirts so it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
To support the work of Awaiaulu, donations can be made by check to Awaiaulu, 2667 ʻAnuʻu Place, Honolulu HI. 96819. You can also donate via Paypal at this link:
